More information about this piece

Henrich von Herzogenberg (1843–1900) was an Austrian composer influenced by Brahms. His setting of the medieval German carol “Joseph, lieber Joseph mein,” was included in his larger Christmas oratorio, Die Geburt Christi.  It was written for 2 singers:  soprano and bass with cello and organ accompaniment.  Wonderful addition to any Christmas event.
