Winning Warm-ups for the Voice

Warming up the voice is important for any singer, regardless of skill level.  It ensures that the voice is ready to perform at its best, while also protecting it from potential damage. Singers are athletes and just as an athlete needs to stretch and prepare muscles for peak performance, a singer needs to prepare to create beautiful singing.

We have prepared 9 different CDs or downloadable MP3 for singers each based on range. Each recording comes with a copy of the printed exercises.

Winning Warm-ups for the Voice is for volume 1 of the series and contains 4 tracks of exercises each approximately 15 minutes in length. They are organized in a gentle, slow warm-up. It is recommended to sing one track a day, not the whole recording.  Choose one that fits your voice type:

Medium high female              Medium low female

Medium high male                  Medium low male

Please note the female recordings are played an octave higher than the male recordings, but you may choose the range that is best suited to your voice and sing in the appropriate octave.
